Great anime action, trouble free plot line and superbly animated artistry make this a real treat for anyone no matter what background your into. Personally, I didn't used to like anime but through the last year it has started to grow on me and this is definatly one of my favourites.

Straight away, this superb anime kicks into action with a chase on hover-jet snow mobiles. There is plenty of gunfire and Alice and her robot friend are blasted off their snow mobile. She awakes in front of a fire in an unknown place and from this point unfolds a fantastical story of unmeasurable heights.
Final Fantasy game fans will love this anime as its story, having personally played and completed most of them, finding the film very remisent of them even down to the detailed artwork and set peices. A great peice of art BRAVO!

This film has got to be one of the best I have personally seen in ages. It’s the kind of flick you want to tell all your mates about. The story is gripping, the dialogue is hilarious, the action comes thick and fast and the soundtrack is kicking. As for the script and direction, it’s absolutely seamless flowing from one moment to the next, no matter how extreme, with the grace of a swan. It is a very moving film, and shot beautifully with imagination and skill. This is one you must see or you’ll kick yourself if you don’t.

When an inmate announces to his cell mates that he has hidden his fortune in the time capsule at Mount Fiji Elementary School the inmates make a break for it. We follow the escapades of the convicts whilst they are on the run trying to find this treasure and the story’s of each cons jaded past and what their hopes and dreams are. Make no mistake this story is cracking and totally enthralling. One minute you’ll be on the edge of your seat the next you won’t know whether to laugh or cry. The cast are brilliant and each one plays his role in a believable way so much that you start to care about these dodgy bastards. A multitude of twists and turns make this a real treat to watch and you’ll be glued to the t.v. from start to finish make no mistake. Japanese films are very underated but when they are producing films like this it puts the Hollywood big boys to shame. Bravo. 5 big ones from the home of horror.

An infamous Manga artist received an unmarked parcel in the mail. In it was an 8mm film, 54 pictures and a 19 page letter. The letter explained of a horrible crime that was committed by a person of aesthetic paranoia. The 8mm film shows a decent into pure madness as the psychotic dismembers a defenseless woman and then adds her to his deranged collection. The artist turns the film, stills and letter over to the police and decides to make a short documentary on his findings. This film is still banned in the U. K. 15 years on which is a shame because it`s so bloody great. Talk about losing your head, the girl in this movie loses the lot, her head, her legs, her arms. you name it, it gets the chop. The Guinea Pig guys have realy let the gore flow on this one with real convincing latex stuff and bucket loads of blood. Buy it now as you won't see another like it.

The search leads them to an old abandoned army base where they quickly come to realize that the tape is indeed authentic. Now the trap has been sprung and one by one they are knocked off. Great Eastern movie with a lot of gore and atmosfere. I have only seen the U.K. DVD release which is cut but there is an uncut U.S. release available. I will do a more detailed review when it arrives.

This film is nuts and contains some of the best gore on celluloid, wicked martial arts and superbly blood splattered special effects. A well executed movie which in my opinion has earnt a place amongst the Asian cult classics. Check out the UK DVD as it has been released totally uncut for the first time.

Based on the ultra violent Manga comic of the same name "Ichi the Killer" is an action packed gangster movie packed with blood gushing gore. It uses computer generated effects which look superb, and it`s about time too. It seems these days we have amazing technology but no one wants to make a real bloody gore film with it. Well "Ichi the Killer" has turned the tables.

The story basically goes like this, There is a killer on the loose. Not just any old killer, one that goes in for the absolute massacre. Kikahari, who is one sick motherfucker, is on the hunt for Ichi for offing some of his cronies. The story takes the torture first ask questions later approach and there is plenty of violence to go round as Kikahari and his gang struggle to find out who is doing the murders. On the flip side the film tells another story. One of Ichi. A twisted and emotional character and his struggle with sanity.

The film is very bloody in places and has some excellent special effects, for instance, when Ichi chops a guy in two and then splits the woman's throat. Blood was shooting out all over the place. There is black vein of humor running throughout the movie which adds to it`s appeal and to persons who are into bondage, you will love it because of the wacky latex outfits and seeing as there is a lot of it going on. Overall it`s a cracking movie and not to be missed.

The story is about a young lady who is going through a divorce and is trying to keep possession of her daughter. She is looking for a place to live and a job so she decides to move in to an old high rise block of flats. As the film progresses she gets more stirred up by the bizzare things she has heard and seen in the building and a wet patch on the ceiling in her daughters room continues to grow. What could be causing these things and what is the relation with it to water.
Chilling and down right spooky, this is one to watch. Better than the recent remake.

Humanity has wiped itself out and all that is left roaming the streets are prostitute robot dolls. One of these dolls is named "Malice". One day she goes on the scout for the Repairer but ends up getting molested by a grotesque tentacle creature. Some how she gets transformed into a human being and overcome with joy she finds as many robots she can to share here gift. She does this with a loving kiss (because that is what she was made for), but something goes terribly wrong. All the other robots start turning into grotesque half-robot-half-human-half-fucking-ugly mutations. This film is great with all the usual japanese twists and turns and in some parts gets quite perverted. Malice@doll has been widely acclaimed by websites internationally and is a key title in japanese anime. I don't usually pay much attention to these styles of films but in the case I really enjoyed it. If your into anime or just good old tentacle sex, this ones the beef. 5 big ones from the home of horror.

Toshiaki Toyoda is the most important young director working in Japan today and his latest work does him some justice. Blue Spring is a "Battle Royale" style film, starring young actors and containing reams and reams of psycho violence. A group of students are in their final year at school and decide to fuck the system and revolt. Instead of studying Maths and Japanese they delve deep into the study of gritty and shocking violence. A lot of thought has gone into the making of this film and it is definitely not to be confused with the usual school kid flicks, this one has real balls and will be around for quite a while, it's a kind of "Breakfast Club" crossed with "Reservoir Dogs". If you into Japanese flicks go buy this film or just rent it out, I promise you wont be disappointed.

The story goes like this : In a secret room, deep in the catacombs of Gates Prison, there are experiments happening on humans. The victims... you`ve guessed it, are young female inmates...(wayhey!). They are subjected to these terrible tests by the sadistic prison psychiatrist, Doctor Klein. (No relation to Calvin Klein)

Rachel "Nice Tits" Foster, a beautiful young singer, is falsely convicted of murder and sent to the prison-o-doom. Stripped naked, she is subjected to bizarre humiliations and her brain slowly turns to pulp in a carefully planned program to send her mad.

In a desperate effort to escape, she embarks on a chase through the dungeons, but instead of finding her freedom and resolve, she finds a prepared gallows awaiting her and her final confrontation with Calvin Klein.. um. er. I mean the evil Dr. Klein. What a climax!!! I enjoyed watching this film but fuck knows why the BBFC banned it?

During World War 2, two female lieutenants with photographic memories (and it just so happens they both have great tits!) volunteer to infiltrate LOVE CAMP 7, a prisoner of war camp where women are forced to shag. Once inside, they hope to find a female prisoner who has vital information about a new jet engine. After a physical exam by a dyke doctor the girls are mauled and made to like Nazi Boot. And if that wasn't enough they are then beaten and raped and forced to watch a fellow inmate strung up over the "Seat of Honor".

This film is one of the better exploitation flicks and it does reach some peaks in it`s brutality even though "Camp's" the word. Bob Cresse plays the gleeful sadistic camp commandant with the worst German accent you`ll ever hear, and adds a light-hearted comedy to what is potentially one of the sickest Nazi-exploitation films to date. In a secret camp in Nazi Germany cruel experiments are conducted for "the selection and improvement of the race". Female prisoners are forced to "ave` it off" with German soldiers (lucky bastards) and perform wildly perverted sexual tests (Hoooooorayyyy!!). Unlike most of the Nazi sleaze films there is a hint of a love story in amongst all the shagging which makes this flick slightly different.

Nazi sergeant Kruber falls head over heals for a french prossie Mirielle. When he is forced to do the pervy-dirty with the inmates by the camp`s Commandant, he thinks "Fuck this!" and joins forces with them to exact revenge on the sadistic overlord, which is really stupid because if you could shag 10 women a day would you complain? The warden of the prison is an absolute pervert and takes pleasure in other peoples pain and the prison nurse is a sexually insane lesbian and uses the inmates for her own personal pleasure (COOL!!). Eventually, 4 of the inmates, Who must be very sore, have enough and of the place and decide to break out.
This film is quite funny as it skips from one lesbian sex scene to another. It is not really an exploitation pick as such but uses the "torturous female prison" title to gain it`s noriety. It is more like watching a soft porn flick that turns into a full on porno. Mind you if you like watching naked women on the job your not exactly short on choice.

Shot back to back with Violence in a Woman`s Prison (a.k.a. "Caged women" and "Women Behind Bars", Emanuelle ( Laura Gemser ) finds herself locked up in an all woman clink which is run by a ruthless warden and sadistic guards. On top of all the daily mayhem she is subjected to, she must also survive the attacks of the prison bully Albina.
Thrown into the mix are four male death row inmates who are led by "Crazy Boy" Henderson who`s mission is to take over the prison and to shag as many of the inmates as possible. The police launch an all out assault on the prison and Emanuelle has to fight to stay alive. The usual run of the mill naked women in prision ensemble.

SS Commandant Starker runs a women`s prisoner of war camp that is used as a stop over for front line soldiers returning to the field. Along with his demented squad and a female Gestapo officer, who enjoys feeding the prisoners to the camps dogs, Starker takes great pleasure in the atrocities he commits. Lise, a new-comer to the camp, becomes to focus of Starker's experiments, but she refuses to break.
Loads of sex, drugs and violence and even a bit of cannabalism chucked in for good measure. Banned in the U.K. in 82' and dubbed as a "video nasty", "Gestapo's Last Orgy" is probably one of the better Nazi exploitation camp flicks. One of my favourite parts is when the inmates are chucked in the lime pits. Check out the "Banned List" for more info.
